DO YOU KNOW KINGSTON?

Do You Know Kingston? is a collaborative project exploring how graphic design can encourage children to engage with their local environment. Developed during my studies in Kingston, the project takes the form of an exploratory travel and activity journal designed for children aged 5–10.

The journal reimagines the traditional travel book through playful navigation, map-based activities, sticker sheets, and creative prompts. These elements encourage children to explore Kingston through observation, interaction, and play, creating a connection between the printed page and the world around them.

The project explores how editorial and information design can transform local geography and culture into an engaging, hands-on experience, encouraging curiosity and discovery through visual storytelling.
