EDIBLE FLOWERS

Edible Flowers is a project exploring the relationship between botanical knowledge, materiality, and book design. The project takes the form of an educational publication focused on helping readers recognise and learn about edible flowers through a tactile and visual experience.

The book is handcrafted using handmade paper and stitched tracing-paper pages, with dried and pressed flowers replacing conventional photographic imagery. Each flower is carefully selected and incorporated into the publication, creating a direct connection between the subject and the physical material of the book.

The project explores how natural materials can become part of the communication itself, combining visual beauty, tactile qualities, and informative content to create an engaging and sensory approach to learning about edible flowers.
